Live4Adventure has been set up to deliver high quality outdoor adventure activities to adults and school groups. We are a team of mature, very highly qualified and extremely motivated outdoor instructors who love to work with people of all ages and abilities. Based in the Lake District National Park, we have detailed knowledge of the best places to take you on your next adventure.
Live4Adventure staff are professionals in every way. We hold some of the highest qualifications and use only the best equipment. We're not "gung-ho" types, fresh out of college, or "growlers" who bark at you when support and gentle encouragement is needed. Our job satisfaction comes from passing on the skills and knowledge we've gained over many years and we work hard to provide you with the outdoor experience that suits you in a supportive and enthusiastic way.
Young people learn when they're having fun and they feel safe. We can help them realise the benefits of working together, trying new things and feeling they can achieve where they thought they might not. We have years of experience in helping motivate young people, of building confidence and self reliance and gaining an appreciation of others and of their environment - in fact we're experts at it.
We all need a little adventure in our lives, it just needs to be at the right level. For some of us, being in a canoe for the first time, or walking to a mountain summit is just what we need. For others it's the chance to push things a bit further on a winter climb or plunge into a deep gorge. We can help you have the adventure that's right for you - help you take it far enough, without going too far.
As activity providers we know the importance of good, expert technical advice and the services you might be looking for. As an MIC and BCU coach IV, with over twenty five years experience, Chris is able to advise on staff competencies and training, venues and equipment, amongst other things. Clients include; HF Holidays, Field Studies Council centres, Calvert Trust Keswick, Chase Adventure and Ramblers Worldwide Holidays.
